I was 19 when I got them...I got braces as an adult. I was 19 when I got them, and they came out when I was 21. I had severe crowding, and needed 4 pre-molars taken out, but my teeth are great right now. The best part is when brushing/flossing is so much easier, and gums just look loads healthier too!<br />Good luck with getting them (whenever you do)!<br /><br />I only ended up paying $2000 for mine,though.
